2013 May 29th-- Added a link to the Erie Canal Mapping Project to the Erie Canal Links page.

2013 March 13th-- Added 3 photos of Enlarged Erie Canal Lock No. 60 to the Traces of the Old Erie Canal section.

2013 March 4th-- Added a new article to the section on Historical Documents relating to the Erie Canal. The article is The Projected New Barge Canal of the State of New York, by Thomas W. Symons, published in 1904.

2013 February 1st -- Added some new postcards to several sections of the Images of the Erie Canal between Syracuse and Little Falls page.

2013 February 1st -- Added a new book to the section on Historical Documents relating to the Erie Canal. The book is History of the Barge Canal of New York State, by Noble E. Whitford, published in 1921.

2012 November 16th -- Added a new book to the section on Historical Documents relating to the Erie Canal. The book is The Life and Writings of De Witt Clinton, by William W. Campbell, published in 1849.

2012 October 28th -- Added a major new section on Historical Documents relating to the Erie Canal. It contains a number of historical texts relating to the Erie Canal, some as scans of the original documents and some as transcribed texts. Much of the transcribed material was prepared by University of Rochester students under the guidance of Morris Pierce, and was formerly available through the University's History Department web site. More will be added to this section in the future as time permits.

2012 June 11th -- Added a new section on Enlarged Erie Canal Lock No. 40 to the Other Traces of the Erie Canal page.

2012 February 29th -- Added five new images of the Erie Canal in Frankfort to the Frankfort section of the Images of the Erie Canal between Syracuse and Little Falls page.
